The Amelia Island Jazz Festival kicks off with a free afternoon “Jazz Party” concert at the Atlantic Recreation Center on Sunday, October 2 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. featuring the University of North Florida 21-piece Jazz Ensemble 2 Orchestra directed by Dennis Marks. Concert goers are encouraged to enjoy a special Jazz Party Lunch prepared by Beyond Horizons chef Courtney Thompson featuring her delicious B.B. King BarBQ Plates. Wine and other beverages will be available by donation along with CDs and AIJF merchandise.
