Park Side

 

The park side of Fernandina Beach really has some of the best picnic areas and with so many options you will find the perfect getaway for your picnic.

Fort Clinch State Park – You will have your pick for a picnic at Fort Clinch.  If your into history this one is for you! Lot’s of exploring to do with hiking trails, beaches, history and more.

Amelia Island State Park – Picnicking here is going to take you back, it has the perfect backdrop for a romantic evening or if  adventure is calling you there are plenty of spots to have a picnic and go exploring? This park provides beautiful shores for a perfect picnic by the sea.

Egans Creek Park – this park is perfect for all ages and one of my personal favorites! Walking trails, playground, nature watching and even a spot to launch a kayak.

Pirates Park – the best spot in Fernandina Beach for picnics with kids. This park is for the young and young at heart! With plenty of things for the kids to do having a picnic here is a great idea.

Beach Side

Picnics on the beach are just magic and Fernandina Beach has the best beach spots for a romantic evening 


Main Beach Park – this park sits on the north end of the island and is complete with a playground and small put-put course. This park has picnic tables, shaded pavilions, a green space for pets, rest-rooms and just steps from the ocean.


Seaside Park – this park is located in the heart of Amelia Island with ocean views, shaded pavilions, picnic tables and a boardwalk to the beach.


Peters Point – this park is on the south end of the island and is great for a quick picnic and is also one of the few beaches that will allow you to drive onto the park
